YSL’s Radiant Touch

Being photo ready is every girl’s aim. We want that perfect contour, eyes that pop with loads of mascara, and a glow in all the right places. If we page through magazines we see it on every red carpet picture; the way the light seems to just gravitate towards certain area’s of the face makes it look almost iridescent. And while you might be correct in assuming that the actresses of today have the best outlets to tap into when it comes to makeup artists, there are certain products you can pick up and use at home to get the exact same effect. These products are the very same one’s used by those same makeup guru’s. Take Kim Kardashian for one; not only was she blessed in the looks department, but her makeup choices seem to compliment and contour every inch of her face in all the right places. She knows exactly which parts of her face to highlight and accentuate and she works it. There is no reason why every girl can’t have the same glowy look, and our new find will give you that identical result, and then some.

I’ve been hearing about this product for a good few months and It’s been on my radar of must-try list for quite some time. I finally got a chance to test it out and now I am officially hooked. Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Eclat Radiant Touch is every girl’s new BFF. The packaging is gorgeous, very va-va-voom. It comes in the staple YSL gold packaging and the product is in a click pen form. I have it in the lightest shade, Number 1. It does come in a variety of shades though to suit different skin tones and colours.

Once my foundation was applied, and I had dabbed some concealer here and there to all the right places, it was time to play. Now, I’m always a bit nervous when it comes to a click-pen product. How many times am I going to have to click before the product comes out, and when it does, will it ooze out at a speed from me clicking it all the time? Thankfully with this product the answer is no. Only 6 clicks and a touch of it came to the top in a sheer pink shade. What was even more impressive was that one sweep across my cheekbone was all that it took to get the effect I desired. I applied it to both of my cheekbones, down the centre of my nose, under my bottom lip and my cupids bow. Basically, to all the area’s I wanted the light to capture. I blended it a touch just to make sure it was all buffed into the skin and then I set my face with a loose powder.

YSL’s Touche Eclat Radiant Touch is a must for every beauty addict and fashionista. While it may be a bit on the pricey side, consider it an investment in your photographic future. It not only lightens your face up, but you’ll have supermodel glow in your photies!
